HINDSIGHT
A space for Black women to unpack anti-Black racism

To this day, many psychosocial practitioners are not trained to discuss the impacts of colonial violence and systemic racism. On the other hand, race scholars rarely engage directly with community members to present their research.Hindsight was created to bridge that gap.Hindsight puts scientific research at the service of Black women to name, identify and navigate intersectional anti-Black racism.

About

My name is Chris (she /her).
I hold a Master’s degree in public health and a PhD in psychology. Over the last ten years I have researched different manifestations of structural inequities and anti-Black racism in countries such as Colombia, Mexico, Tanzania, South Africa and Canada.
My research focuses on the psychology of western colonial violence and how it influences the way racialized peoples, specifically Black peoples, perceive themselves and others.
